I've got 2 different rag garland tutorials for you. This is a cheap and easy way to add a little decor to any party or event! Do note that it does take a lot of time, but it's a good mindless craft you can do while you watch a movie or your favorite show.
The first rag garland is the Tie Garland.

Cut your string to your desired length and add a few more inches at both ends to leave room for tying or taping it up. Tie on the shorter pieces of fabric in a knot (4"x2"). That's it!
 Keep tying your fabric until the string is filled. You can make it as full or as bare as you want it to be.
The second rag garland is the Rag Garland (creative, I know...). These pieces of fabric will want to be longer. More like 6-8"x2".

First, cut your string to your desired length and add a few more inches at both ends to leave room for tying or taping it up. Take a piece of fabric and fold it in half. Lay it beneath the string.
 Grab the ends and loop it over the string and through the hole you created.
 Pull as tight or loose as you want. You'll notice the different looks you'll get using which method.
Keep doing this method making it as full or bare as you want it to be. This one I left about a 1/2" space between each one. And that's it!

My 3-year old daughter is obsessed with horses right now, so the opportunity to throw a cowgirl party couldn't have been any better! This theme was SO much fun to play with - I had a blast putting it all together!

I invited a lot of family to this party, so I felt like I needed to provide some sort of square meal opposed to just cake and treats. On the menu was: BBQ Shredded Pork Sandwiches, Veggie cups, Fruit, Pudding cups, Pasta Salad, and Rice Krispie Haybales.
