I originally found this recipe here, so all of the credit is due to Melissa Fallis.

Crock Pot Chicken Teriyaki:
2 chicken breasts (and you can throw them in frozen!!)
1 20oz. can of pineapple tidbits
1/2 a bag of baby carrots
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 c. teriyaki sauce (I use Lawry's brand)
*optional: 1/2 red onion cut into chunks (I don't like cutting onions, so I opt them out and it still has great flavor!)

Throw it all in together. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours. Serve over Rice.

This semester I'm taking a History of Graphic Design class and we've already had our first field trip to the Crandall Print Museum in Provo, UT. I've been there before for my Typography I class (which was 3 years ago...), so I was really looking forward to being able to go again.

This museum is not just for print/typographic fanatics like me, but for all history lovers! The old men who run it are hilarious, so even if you don't like history, you'll get your moneys worth just from laughing at their jokes ;)

What I love about this museum is all of the different printing presses you're able to see and even watch them how they would've actually worked the press back then! It's super cool because they have the only working Gutenberg press IN THE WORLD!! Talk about sa-weet! And they even let you touch them and work the levers. I was even able to pull back the acorn press lever (which I'll talk about later). It was pretty hard! The type they have set are all actual separate letters like how it really would've been done back in the day. They were saying how other museums just have whole plates made with text and don't have the separate lettering. Pretty cool, huh?

Hey ya'll! As you know school has started and if any of you have actually read my little bio here, you would know that I'm still in school, desperately trying to finish. Because of school, my schedule has already become a little hectic and I know I won't be able to add much to this blog. My priorities right now are school and family, but I'll try my best to make time for this too! I've already gotten a little bit of recognition so far from Debra Bass, a St. Louis Today Fashion Editor with my Toilet Paper Art coming soon on an article that she's doing! (I won't go into much detail. I already hope I'm not spoiling anything because I'm talking about this now before it actually makes it into the paper...) So I'm sad that I can't continue on with promoting my blog and doing as much as I can to make it better.

BUT in the meantime, I'm taking a UI/IX Design class which will help me learn coding! So later I'll be able to make this website, or even make my own website so much better! It's exciting! Because, this site ain't got no style and things going where I want them to go.

So, stay with me, people! I'll probably be doing more recipes than crafts because I'm always trying new meals from Pinterest. And then come Christmas-time, I'll have a lot of cute crafty decor coming along from stuff I did last year. And of course I'll share some of my design work from school. So I guess my blog won't become too much of a dead-beat, but just know there might be some dry-spells happening.

We all have it: that one white shirt with the pit stains. Most of us replace it with a new one when needed or shamefully hang it in our closet thinking one day we'll deal with it and bleach it. But not anymore! I saw this pin from One Good Thing about taking the yellow sweat stains out of white shirts and knew I needed to try it. What did I have to lose if I was going to replace the shirt anyways?

She had fantastic results and I was pretty trusting that it would work. So here we go!


You mix one part Dawn dishwashing liquid mixed with two parts hydrogen peroxide plus some baking soda. Scrub onto stains and do your laundry as usual. I also dabbed it on some areas where there were other stains like chocolate or something.


Then after it's done laundering, voila! Stains GONE! It really is miracle cleaner. It got the odd older stains out too!
