IT'S HERE!!! My annual Custom Christmas Card GIVEAWAY!!!

This is by far my most popular giveaway, so I guess I gotta keep doing it! And it's so fun! This is my passion, designing lovely cards for everyday purposes and I love getting to share it with one lucky person!
This is my family Christmas card for 2016.

I love Christmas hues of red, green, gold and silver, but sometimes I like getting out of those traditional colors! So here I kept the red and green, but went with the lighter values of them instead. So red went to a coral-ish color and green went mint!

I wanted to find mint or coral color envelopes, but my favorite retailer doesn't carry those colors, so I went with the metallic pearlescent peach instead. Not my favorite, but it's different!
Photographer credit goes to: Missy at Xpressions Photography  Missy is a Utah photographer and does all of my family photos. She gets booked fast, so book her early!
We don't have our dog yet, but I still wanted to include that special fur ball. But if I have to get really honest, I mostly just wanted to use that dog vector!

I know it's more of a thing now days to just have a Christmas greeting and a family photo, but I really like recaps of the year and what better way than to make it fun with little images and a small amount of text? It's my favorite way to do a recap.

Here are other examples of my past family Christmas cards: 2015, 2014, 2013.
Now before I get into the giveaway details I wanted to say if you don't win, please consider me to do your Christmas cards anyways!

I can give you four reasons why you should choose custom over a big photo printing retailer:
1. You get exactly what you want.
2. No one else will have the same card as you! (One year I had 3 family members with the same exact Christmas card design! Oops!)
3. You'd be supporting a small business which contributes more to the community than a big retailer.
4. You actually end up getting more for your money. Here's how:

For 25 single sided 5"x7" postcards:
Shutterfly: $26.75 (that's with their 40% coupon code!)
Tiny Prints: $68.50
Wal-Greens: $19.99 (set of 20)

OR

25 double sided 5"x7"postcards + your own custom design:
Me: $25
(*I can get them printed cheaper than the top retailers and the price also includes my design fee.)

So there, I did the work for you and now you know you're actually saving money by going custom!

--

Now onto the giveaway!!

**The winner will win 1 or 2 custom designed digital files for their Christmas card. Winner will need to provide their own pictures and text they want for their card. Winner will need to provide a valid email as they will be notified by email and the design process will take place over email unless winner wants to come to me. Winner will need to cover the card's printing costs.**

Good luck! I'm excited to work for you!

It's time for my annual Custom Christmas Card Giveaway! (said in Oprah Winfrey's voice. I'm feeling like I'm putting on a "My Favorite Things" episode...) I've done this for 2 years and it keeps getting more popular, so I figure it's what people want!

Christmas cards have always been "a thing to do," and now I feel like every other company out there is taking advantage of it (which they should be doing - smart business strategies!) which makes it so competitive! There are SO many cute designs to choose from. Sometimes that can be a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes too many options are overwhelming and sometimes the price isn't what you want to pay for, but end up paying for it because it was such a headache to get through it all!

That's where I step in with this giveaway (and custom orders - contact me if you want to get personal). If you have an idea you want, but can't find, I can custom make it for you. If you don't even have the time to even look around for cards, but still want to send out lovely cards to all of your friends and loved ones, I'm here for you. I can hold your hand and make a card that will make you want to shout from on top of a mountain that it is finished and you are able to cross off that one thing on your enormous Christmas to-do list.

So this is what I can do and if you like what you see, enter into the giveaway and let me take care of the dirty work. You deserve it!

. . . . . . . .

Here is an example of this year's card. I usually send it out to my friends and family first, but I decided to order my cards from Overnight Prints this year and my cards won't get here until December 4th...! So you have the digital version to look at for now. When they're finished, they'll have rounded corners along with bright yellow envelopes, because how fun is that?! The envelopes match my daughter's shirt and compensates with the simple black and white design. I can't wait to show you when they get here! So stay tuned.

Past examples of my family cards can be found here and here.

So, onto the giveaway! This giveaway is for 1 digital file (or 2 if you want it front and back) for a custom Christmas card design. You'll need to print them yourself at your local print lab or use my favorite printing service, Overnight Prints. They always have sales on this time of year, so they're very reasonable for high quality professional service.

Good luck! And I can't wait to work with you!

I'm introducing gift card holder cards to my shop! It was time for me to have something new and I figured cards was a good place to start.

These aren't just any card, though, they're cards to put a gift card in! Uniquely sewn, the person who receives this will love the added surprise of originality.

Most of the cards have a color-coordinated pocket with the envelope, but check the shop for more detailed pictures of the specific cards if you want a closer look.

Aren't you in love with the rainbow of envelope colors?! I'll admit it's my favorite part of this whole card deal. I have the option of picking the envelope color of your choice if you're into mixing and matching. For example, I think the "Celebrate" card would look really good with a hot pink envelope and the yellow gift card pocket and you have the option of doing that if you like.

I know I don't have a wide variety of cards since I'm just starting this out, but I feel like I hit most of the big holidays and life experiences.

The "Celebrate" and "Party On Dude" could be used for birthdays, graduation, getting a new job, etc.

The "Make Like a Tree" holiday version is my only Christmas card and would work well for that certain person you never know what to get. Just leave it up to a Visa gift card and you're good to go!

The other "Make Like a Tree," "Let Me Be Your Sugar Daddy/Mama," and "Just Because" cards are great for anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or just because you want to spoil your loved one and let them know they're loved. Those are the cards I hope to be used the most because we could all use more love!

Now for what you've been waiting for, the GIVEAWAY! Follow the directions below to be entered to win 5 of these cards! Giveaway ends October 21st at 12am. Good luck!

**Gift cards are not included. Just the card and envelope. Winner has the option of picking out different envelope colors. Winner will be contacted via e-mail and will need to provide which 5 cards he/she would like along with envelope colors if desired. Winner will also need to provide a valid address for cards to be sent to.**

I threw this one in because she LOVES Star Wars and it's also new to the shop.
One of my goals this year is to expand my shop to different types of styles and categories so it attracts different people. With a bigger audience, I'm hoping to get a little more recognition. And where is a better way to start than with a little HP?!?

I feel awful saying this, but I always forget how awesome this series is until I immerse myself in it. The quotes are so powerful and beautiful, it's a no-brainer why people choose to be uplifted by it. Most of the artwork I have found is more playful and kiddie, something that I would only display in my child's playroom. So, what I wanted to do was to make this line more adult-like and something that anyone would want to display in their living room; discrete, yet a conversation piece to the people who know the actual source, or just find peace in the spirituous words.

And with that, I've tagged teamed with Danica from Danakin Skywalker to promote my new Harry Potter fan art print line! Head on over to her blog to enter to win one of these prints! Giveaway closes on Wednesday at midnight, so enter quick!

New Year's goals.

Some people love 'em, some people hate 'em.

I happen to be one of those people who love them and need the extra motivation to become a better person. Which is where my inspiration came from for these New Year's prints.

These prints are bound to be inspirational to bring on 2015 with a bang. To tackle those to-do's or how you might want to change yourself.

Some goals I have for myself are:
. To send actual birthday cards to each of my siblings.
. Give more focus on my little shop. And yes, I have somewhat of a game plan.

Now it's your turn to bring on the new year with a ROAR by winning one of these 3 incentive prints from my shop.

To the new year! And good luck!

The giveaway I did last year for a custom Christmas card seemed to be pretty popular, so I'm bringin' it back!

Here's my family Christmas card I did this year and some examples of past cards:

I am in love with the kraft envelopes I found at Paper and More! They add the perfect touch to make these look homemade, but crisp and clean.
So, onto the giveaway! This time of year is SO BUSY, so let me do the work for you to make your family card look fabulous. This giveaway is for 1 digital file (or 2 if you want it front and back like my card) for a custom Christmas card designed by yours truly. You'll need to print them yourself at your local print lab or or else I can do it for you and we can talk about fun stuff like prices. Your choice. But I will say that getting it printed at a print lab is cheaper than Shutterfly. Just sayin'. Good luck and I can't wait to work with you!

The freebie is for sheet of these heart stickers! Either buy sticker paper at Staples or Wal-Mart (stores that sell paper goods) and print it at home or get the file professionally printed at FedEx and they have sticker paper already there that they can print on for you. I think it's $1/sheet. The circles are 1" and 40 on a page.

Mother's Day is just around the corner so I've got a new line of prints up and ready in the shop! What I like about these 3 prints is how they cover all aspects of motherhood. The first one is for the mother of young kids, and the other 2 are great for any stage of momhood. I feel they are also appropriate for birthdays or even your mother-in-law!
I promise it's really white. For some reason blogger
is muting some of my pictures.
This one seemed to be really popular when I made it for
a client (my MIL). So I brought it back, but changed some
elements so it wasn't just like hers, which was pretty custom.

And what's a new line without a giveaway to show how great it all is!? If 20 people enter, then I'll up it from 1 winner to 3 winners. Enter now so you can have it ready by Mother's Day!
