Step right up! Step right up! Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, I bring unto you this party invitation!
This circus themed invitation was so fun and I heard the party was even better! Soda-Pop the clown was there to give the kids a real show. What a fun birthday party!

My cute niece had a Rockstar Birthday Party and it was one for the books! The kids came dressed up as rockstars and were given a "Backstage Pass." Then they spray colored their hair, decorated guitars and had karaoke - super star style!

I designed the invitation, backstage pass, cake cone toppers, and party favor tags. It was such a fun theme to do! Kids these days have the funnest parties - thanks to smart moms who come up with these awesome ideas! ;)

My cute niece was baptized into our church last week so my sister asked me if I could make an invitation for the event. She said she wanted soft colors and was thinking more of a mint color. I think it was my idea to add the florals. They go with her floral crown!
These pictures of my niece are so stunning this photo doesn't do it justice! If you're in the Utah area, my sister Missy at Xpressions Photography took these photos. She'll hook you up with great photos!

Did you know I do custom work? Well, I do!

This lovely bride-to-be asked me to customize my "Oh, My Darling Clementine" print to say "Clemens-tine" instead of "Clementine" because her new last name will be Clemens and this is a wedding gift for her man.

I was a little worried about making all of the additional letters fit, but it worked!
This wasn't my first custom project for this specific print. I've had others ask for names of their baby with their birth year added at the bottom. I love doing customizations because for a moment I feel a connection with others around me and I get be an instrument in making a memory for them.

If you want a customized print, you can request a custom order right on my Etsy shop! Or if you want to talk about it first, just shoot me an email. Both are just a click away on the site.

My friend Tracy asked me to design her baby's blessing invitation for her and I couldn't have been more thrilled for the opportunity!

I really love this idea of an invitation opposed to a baby announcement. I feel like with the internet and word getting out so quickly, by the time you receive an announcement in the mail you've already seen 100+ pictures of the baby anyways. It's always fun to get in the mail. It's one of those items I call "fun mail," but I kind of think they're not as necessary as they used to be. There is always a spot in the baby book for an announcement, but you could put an invitation there instead! (Sorry, if you're hatin' - I'm just such a practical person!)
I suggested blush florals and it was a go! These are 4x6 invitations with a printed back design as well.
Tracy is an Usborne consultant and we just did a straight up trade for both of our services. I got some sweet activity books for a road trip which my daughter will be able to use on our trip to our family reunion at the end of the month! Exciting!

My website makeover has really been a pain and I had no idea it would take me this long to do! I decided to just do something totally different, hoping it would be easier and faster, and turns out there are still some kinks I need to work out. So pardon my dust as I slowly get this figured out!

Ginger Awareness Day was February 22nd and my friend wanted to celebrate her brother's head-of-fire by giving him a fun t-shirt to celebrate. She wanted the bubbly-70's vibe. YES! I couldn't have agreed any more. It was exactly what I was picturing too when she asked me to make this.

So I hand-lettered it, cleaned it up and added color on the computer, and she was able to do an iron-on transfer onto a red t-shirt. I thought it was such a nice gesture of her to make a custom shirt for him. I mean, hello! Coolest Sister Award!

In light of Dr. Seuss's birthday on Thursday, I thought I'd share a Dr. Seuss birthday party package I did for a client! All of the food was themed from the books and were very clever, but my favorite part was this cute little poem:
Dr. Seuss is one of those people who have given so much to the world and have made a difference for the greater good. I loved his books growing up and love them just as much reading them to my kids.

A month or so ago my daughter wanted to watch Horton Hears a Who, so after it was over I decided to watch the extras which are available on the DVD. There was a small clip of Dr. Seuss's life and how people had always thought his ideas were crazy and didn't think he'd ever get very far in life. His wife commented how he was always sketching odd things and would make up funny words. Little did she know how much his peculiar imagination would create an such an empire in Children's Literature. His books they truly are timeless and I'm so grateful for the people who believe in themselves and have the guts enough to block out everyone else and do what they love.

My cute Mom has been a regular Christmas card client for the past few years and asked me to do theirs this year! My parents went to two nice vacations this year and since Christmas cards are the time where you are able to humbly brag about how great your life is (not my quote! Credit goes to The Daily Tay! I thought it was incredibly accurate for how Christmas cards go.), those two vacations were the highlight of the card.

They toured parts of Europe which was why we decided on "Happy Christmas" and then when you turn over the back they also went to Hawaii so we also put "Mele Kalikimaka!"

I'm still taking card designs if you are last minute and want me to take care of it for you! I can do 25 for $25. If you want more I can give you a price quote.

There are a lot of girls in my family so I don't get as many chances to design BOY stuff. But this little dude had his first friend party which called for a total party transformation! (Get it? How can I not go without a pun on this one!)

This party was so fun with games like "Make Your Own Transformer" using marshmallows and pretzels and another one with different shapes of paper. Then there was Bingo, which all kids love, even if they never get a complete row. And to top off the party my sister and her husband did a full-out obstacle course where the kids needed to get though the obstacles in order to kill Megatron. They could've done that all day! So fun!
To show my appreciation for you guys, enjoy these FREE Transformer Bingo card sheets! I haven't done a freebie in awhile and you deserve it!

My cute niece was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints so announcement was commenced!

I love being able to use a picture with the text over it when I get the chance. My sister also wanted it that way, so great minds think alike!

As fall is right around the corner, here is a little piece of summer before the holiday craze begins!

My niece wanted a water party, so my sister kept it simple with water games, cake and presents - just how a birthday party should be. So I designed an invitation and party favor tags.

I love how the beachball on the invitation wasn't the regular-primary-color-type of beachball and set the color scheme for the entire party. Very modern beachy. And this cake! She always goes all out with birthday cake and this one couldn't have been more adorable.

My oldest sister wrote this poem while she was serving an LDS mission in Chile. I had no idea it even existed - probably because I was only 8 when my sister wrote it, but it's very beautiful. She has always had a way with words!

So anyways, my other sister had it typed out and framed in her bathroom. Well, the glass cracked and it got water damaged! So I was hired to design a new one and we also gifted it to our oldest sister.

Meet my best friend. She graduated with her MASTERS and had a long, hard road in doing so.

But! she defeated the odds and DID IT! I couldn't be more proud of her!
Come to think of it, by her and I continuing our schooling, it was one of the ways how we became such good friends. We swapped babysitting our two kiddos so we could attend our classes (which made them instantly become best friends), and because we had to see each other every time we dropped off our kids, we talked a lot, clicked, and our story unfolded.
Congrats, Master Steph! You did it!

Remember, a few weeks remain for my graduation announcement special! The sale is for 40% off a graduation announcement design. For more info, go to this post.

My sister's baby boy turned one last month and she asked me to whip up a little invitation. Although this was a party for a one year old, that didn't stop his older siblings from wanting to throw him a party! His sisters made a "Create a Monster" game where they had cut out different shapes of bodies, eyes, arms, feet, mouths, teeth, and horns to create your very own paper monster. There was also a "Pin the Eyeball on the Monster" and "Don't Eat Pete" monster themed. And let's not forget all of the monster themed food she had!

Her little cutie had a great party with a great family who all pitched in to help.

My cute Mom asked me to do her Christmas card for her. My family had a reunion this past summer and everyone was there, so a family picture was needed! She sends out a card every year, but to have a photo with everyone in it is special once your family keeps growing!

This card was printed with rounded corners using Overnight Prints printing service. It was a 5x7 postcard and then she added an additional piece of paper including the highlights of their year.

This next card was the winner of my Christmas card giveaway! She didn't have much of a preference and trusted me to just do what I wanted. She gave me some great family photos to work with, so I knew I wanted to make a nice collage using as many as I could.

Card was also printed using Overnight Prints on a 5x7 postcard.

Photo credits also go to: Xpressions Photography
