I swear, everything I have been designing lately has been pink! Lots of girls going around! But girls and pink are fun - just like the theme for this baby shower I did for my sister, along with my Mom and other sister,

"Sugar and spice and everything nice; that's what little girls are made of."

I don't know how long that nursery rhyme has been around, but it's a favorite. I knew I wanted that to be the theme along with shabby-chic decorations.

Brown paper bags with doilies, lace, and PINK - totally shabby-chic. I was loving it! It turned out to be a great shower and lots of loved ones were able to support my sister with her up-coming arrival.

This is almost a month over-due, but here is the Mustache Bash Baby Shower! My friend and I threw our friend this baby shower together - she did all of the amazing food and party favor foot scrubs and I did the decorating and designing.

The party favors. We found the cutest containers at Michael's 30 for $20, but she
had a coupon for 40% off, so they were a banging $11! Score!

I love the added mustache detail on the fork glass bowl holder!

Cupcake toppers.

The added paper-fringe can be made my folding a piece of paper like a fan, hot-glue the ends together to make
a circle. Hot-glue the middle so it doesn't pop out. Hot-glue paper cupcake topper circle and stick.

My friend found the idea on Pinterest for the food labels. (here, it was just linked to the picture and not the blog) I must say whoever made these up first was a genius! Super cute idea and we just rolled with it!

The shower was a fabulous success and I gotta say, we made a really good team!

One of the games we played was called Mom or Dad, which was also found on Pinterest (and the page doesn't exist anymore, so sad!). The mom-to-be writes out questions about herself and her husband ahead of time. At the shower, as you ask the questions, the guests answer by holding up lips if they think the answer is the mom or a mustache if they think it's the dad. The person with the most correct answers wins.
