My cute Mom asked me to do her Christmas card for her. My family had a reunion this past summer and everyone was there, so a family picture was needed! She sends out a card every year, but to have a photo with everyone in it is special once your family keeps growing!

This card was printed with rounded corners using Overnight Prints printing service. It was a 5x7 postcard and then she added an additional piece of paper including the highlights of their year.

This next card was the winner of my Christmas card giveaway! She didn't have much of a preference and trusted me to just do what I wanted. She gave me some great family photos to work with, so I knew I wanted to make a nice collage using as many as I could.

Card was also printed using Overnight Prints on a 5x7 postcard.

I love how my family Christmas cards turned out this year! I really wanted to have rounded corners, so I splurged a bit and got them professionally printed.

I went for a simple design because I wanted to have a colored envelope. I'm really into colored envelopes right now... but they're just so fun to get in the mail!

The "Seasons Greetings" was hand-drawn by me and the rest was designed on the computer. I feel like it's very unique and would go well with any other pop of color. I chose to do yellow because even though it's not Christmassy, it matches the photo and I wanted the overall design to be cohesive.

If you're like me, you like glitter, but HATE the mess it strings around with it! It drives me crazy because it just sticks to everything and even the vacuum can't get it out! But it's so beautiful because it's shiny and sparkly.

I've heard before that spraying hairspray can make the glitter stay on.

It didn't work. #pinterestfail

And so for years I've been putting up with my annoying glittery Christmas ornaments and not letting my daughter put them on the tree because I needed to delicately put them on myself. I mean, once the glitter is gone, it's gone! There's no going back unless you want to turn it into an art project.

And then it finally dawned on me: use Modge Podge. It's clear, it's stable and holds a lot of things together. So onto the tutorial. It'll literally take you 10 minutes if you have just a few things + drying time.

Tools you will need:
glitter items from the abyss
Modge Podge
sponge brush
paper plate
piece of wax paper
1. Set out your wax paper and paper plate. Pour some Modge Podge on the plate and set your glitter items on the wax paper.
2. Start painting your items with the Modge Podge. There's no need for it to be perfect. In fact, I had my 3 year old help me because it dries clear anyways, so no mistakes will ever show through. She had a lot of fun being able to help me "paint." There's also no need to use a lot or a thick coat. Just dab a layer on and let it dry.
 3. After it dries, you're done!
As you can see, you really can do this to anything that has glitter on it. I used it for some bows, magnet clips and ornaments, but the possibilities are endless! No more fallen glitter!

This theme was so fun to work with for this birthday party package! With all of the rhyming, bright colors and animation; it's such a classic!
I loved the client's idea to ask people who came to bring a book as a gift instead of just toys and to have a book out for the guest's to sign as a reminder of this little girl's party. That book will definitely be something she'll treasure!
For this party package, I designed: invitations, that special print asking guests to sign the book, food cards, party favor cards, and party favor inserts for each of the favors. Like, Swedish fish had a little tab of paper that said, "One Fish, Two Fish."
This Dr. Seuss theme is pretty popular, so I really wanted to design this party package in a way that it stood out. I still used the bright colors and cartoons, because that's what the theme is all about, but most of the designs I see out there have a LOT going on. I wanted this package to be simple, but fun enough for the theme to shine through. I feel like I accomplished that and the client was also happy with the outcome. Win-win!
